December 11th-15th 2017 Ecola Sainte Anne

For our first transnational meeting and for launching the project, all partners met in France.

On Monday, December 11th, all partners arrived in Bordeaux, It is a flat city, built on the banks of the Garonne River. All partners stayed in Appart city Hotel.After a long journey all partners were welcomed warmly and heart full.

On Tuesday morning the whole group went to the Sainte Anne Primary School. Pupils from our host school waved a greeting of all partner countries in the school hall. After this amazing show, There they were warmly welcomed by the administration and the teachers. Veronique Hernandez who the principal and project coordinator of Ecole Sainte Anne delivered a heart-warming speech, gave a general information about school and its' history.

School project coordinators presented their schools, systems as well as shared the results of surveys conducted with pupils, parents and teachers on satisfaction, probable reasons of absenteeism .

The purpose of our project meeting was to coordination, implementation, monitoring and dissemination.On the coordination meeting the partners evaluated former tasks and decided further tasks. They also planned next meeting dates for Greece and Lithuania and a number of decisions were made for the future of our project.

All partners had lunches together and had a chance to have a heart-to-heart talk accompanied with delicious food in school dining hall

On Tuesday afternoon, a bus took all participants of the mobility to the village of St. Emilion. It is a protected, Unesco, world heritage site. St. Emilion also lays claim to having the oldest, wine society in France. A wine estate visited with a winegrower's explanations. All participants became acquainted with viticultural methods walking through vineyard, vatroom and barrel cellar.

The groups had the chance to visit classes. Children and teachers prepared many things for their guests, questions were asked, songs were sung,games were played etc

On Thursday afternoon, a bus took all participants to Bordeaux. The partners walked through Bordeaux where they enjoyed a guided tour. They learned a lot about the ancient history of Bordeaux.There we visited the very interesting museums,ancient monuments.

After city tour,They visited the very interesting cap science Museum.Luminopolis is a city of knowledge that contains everything there is to know about light. What is light? How does it give rhythm to our lives? How do we share it? As part of a team, they tried to solve a series of puzzles to unlock the door to exit the city of light.

All partners had great time while resolving to unlock the door to exit the city of light

On Friday all teams left Bordeaux with many, many new impressions. Many thanks to Veronique in particular for organizing these great days but also to everybody else who helped to make these a success.
